Ceramic braces are made of translucent (clear) material. They are most popular with adult & high school patients, due to their cosmetic appeal. The only drawbacks to ceramic brackets are the elastic ties can discolor between orthodontic visits, but color elastic ties can also be put on them. We use a 3m Clarity bracket.
